The meaning of the logo
"1+1=SIMBAHAN" calls everyone, all of us especially all Alitagtagueños here in the Philippines and abroad to cooperate, help, build, and finish our church. Alitagtagueños even those not originally born in Alitagtag but considered themselves "Alitagtagueños by Heart" are God-fearing people. Thus, we knock on the doors of their hearts to be part of our church. We need a church to be close to God, to deepen our faith, and strengthen our relationship with Him. Be part in helping build the Invencion De La Sta. Cruz Parish, our church!
- Pope Francis honors the important roles of the laity in the church. Hence, the Holy Father dedicated this year 2014 as the "Year of the Laity”. The year of the laity's theme says: "Choose to be Brave" from the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP). All lay faithful are called to be saints and be holy heroes. As can be seen in the logo, the most dominant color is RED. This is the warmest of all colors for several reasons. It symbolizes bravery, zeal, passion, and survival. In addition, this color brings focus to life, symbolizes blood atonement, sacrifice of Christ's blood, and God's grace. Thus, parishioners in Alitagtag regard and own RED as the color of Mahal na Poong Sta. Cruz. This color becomes the life and heart of the campaign 1+1=SIMBAHAN.
- Other colors are WHITE and YELLOW. WHITE symbolizes our Creator, purity, victory, glory, and joy. YELLOW symbolizes Christ's Light, God's Glory, Divine Nature, holiness, unity, and purification.
